Charleston County
School of the Arts Middle School Bands

The Charleston County School of the Arts Middle School Bands consist of approximately 76 sixth, seventh, and eighth graders. These students have been selected by auditions to participate in the band program at SOA.

In the fall semester, the sixth, seventh, and eighth graders form their own grade-level bands.
In the spring semester, the SOA Middle School Concert Band is formed of sixth and seventh grade band students and the SOA Wind Ensemble is formed of seventh and eighth grade students.

The Director of Bands for the Charleston School of the Arts Middle School is Alice Aldredge.

The Charleston County School of the Arts High School Bands consists of ninth, tenth, eleventh and twelfth graders.
These students have been selected by auditions to participate in the band program at SOA.

The Director of Bands for the Charleston School of the Arts High School is Dustin King.​
