NOMINATE YOURSELF OR SOMEONE ELSE

Volunteer Coordinator:

Maintains contact with Board members and Committee Chairs to ensure that they have help and resources needed for events; coordinates volunteer recruiting and promotes volunteer program; overseas current volunteers; creates ways to secure new volunteers; trains volunteers and maintains log of CCSD approved volunteers. Works closely with Merchandise Coordinator for Fact & Fees Event and other opportunities throughout the school year.

Come meet fellow SOA parents from all majors! Your PTSA Board wants to provide an opportunity for fellow SOA PTSA members to gather after work for a social. The PTSA will provide appetizers/snacks. Great door prize giveaways! Event is for parents and faculty only -- it is not a student or school event

 

Teacher Mini-Grants

We welcome your Mini-Grant Application as an SOA Certified Instructional Staff member (teachers, School Counselors, Teacher Librarians, Instructional Coaches, and Student Interventionists.) Recipients must be current members of the PTSA, and it's only $5 for a faculty member to join! Grants are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis until PTSA budgeted funds are depleted for the year. Requests should be for items that directly benefit students and/or classrooms.

If two faculty members would like to combine their requests for a larger project to be applied to multiple classrooms, that will be considered. Arts teachers with booster clubs: the PTSA requires that your booster club fund half up to the current mini-grant limit. PTSA will fund the other half once verified.

After you submit your form, please allow time for us to receive and process the approval. 

Approved and Funded Grant Requirements:

  1. After purchasing with grant funds: Email receipts to ptsa.soa@gmail.com.
  2. Document and email photos of students using the materials.
  3. We ask that you share with students and families that the program was made possible with support from the SOA PTSA.
  4. For teachers of Arts Major areas: Your Booster Club must contribute to this request by matching the requested total funding for this project.
